Billing and plans

Free stays free forever, with no credit card. Paid plans add storage and extras, are sold through Link, and can be cancelled any time.

1How paid plans are sold

Paid plans are sold through Link, Stripe's checkout. Link is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and sends your receipts. ExitoMail provides the service itself. Prices are in USD and include applicable taxes. The merchant of record is Stripe's affiliate Sold through Link, LLC.

  1. Pick a plan
In Settings → Plan & billing, choose a plan and monthly or yearly billing.
  2. Confirm
Check the summary and choose Continue to secure payment.
  3. Pay
Pay on Link's secure page. Your new storage and features apply as soon as the payment goes through.
If Settings → Plan & billing says paid plans are coming soon, checkout isn't open for your account yet. Everything on the free plan keeps working.

2Receipts and your statement

  • Link emails your receipts, from a link.com address. We send our own order confirmation too.
  • Your billing history and invoices are under Manage billing in Settings → Plan & billing.
  • Your card or bank statement shows LINK.COM* EXITOMAIL.
  • Plans renew automatically. For yearly plans we remind you by email at least 30 days before the renewal.

3Cancel or change plans

Cancel any time in Settings → Plan & billing with Cancel contract here (or under Manage billing), or in your Link account (opens in a new tab). Your plan runs until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.

  • Over the free 5 GB afterwards? Your mail and files stay. New uploads are paused and new incoming mail is refused until you're under the limit again.
  • Transfers you kept "until I delete it" get an expiry 30 days later, and we email you first. See kept transfers.

Can't sign in, for example because your account is suspended? Cancel without signing in: we email a link to an address of your account.

4If a payment fails

Link tries again over the following days and your plan stays active for 14 days after the first failed renewal. Update your payment method under Manage billing before then. If it still fails, your account moves to Free; nothing is deleted.

514-day right of withdrawal

If you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK and bought a personal plan, you can withdraw from it within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason:

Business plans are sold to businesses and don't include this right. The details, and a model form, are in our Terms.

6Refunds and price changes

  • Apart from the right of withdrawal and what the law requires, payments aren't refunded.
  • Link has its own refund policy for some purchases within 60 days: see requesting a refund from Link (opens in a new tab).
  • We tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to you.
  • Link can't sell paid plans to some countries and territories: China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Kosovo, Ascension Island, Tristan da Cunha.
  • The full rules are in our Terms and Link's buyer terms (opens in a new tab).
