Exito Vault

Exito Vault keeps your documents, photos and contracts next to your mail, in the same 5 GB you get for free. Share anything with a link you control.

1Upload and organize

  • Drag files or whole folders into Exito Vault, or use the upload button. There's no limit per file beyond your free space.
  • Big files upload in parts. If the connection drops, a retry keeps the parts that already arrived. Keep the tab open until it's done.
  • Find things under My Vault, Recent, Starred, Shared links and Trash.
  • Photos, videos, audio, PDFs and text files open in a preview right in your browser; photos and videos get thumbnails.

2Share links

Share any file or folder with a link. People open it without an account.

  • Choose how long it works: 7 days, 30 days (the default) or Never.
  • Turn off Allow downloads to let people view without saving a copy.
  • Password protection is part of Plus and up (at least 8 characters).
  • Stop sharing ends the link for good. Sharing again creates a new link.
  • Items in the trash can't be shared, and shared files may be checked for malware first.
  • Downloads from your share links count toward a monthly allowance: 25 GB on Free, and more on paid plans (see pricing). Previews that play a whole file count too; thumbnails don't. When it runs out, your links stay open and show previews, but files can't be downloaded until the 1st of next month.
  • Sharing with a big audience? Send the file with Exito Transfer instead: transfers don't use this allowance.

3Trash

Deleted files and folders go to the trash first. Use Restore to bring them back, or Delete forever to remove them now.

Items in the trash are deleted forever after 30 days, and they still count toward your storage until then.

4One storage pool for mail and files

Your plan's storage is shared by your mail, your Exito Vault files (including the trash) and any Exito Transfer transfers you chose to keep. You see how it's split in the Exito Vault sidebar and in Settings → Profile.

When it's full
Nothing is deleted. New uploads are paused, and new incoming mail is refused (the sender usually gets a bounce) until you free up space, empty the trash or add storage.
